After being managed by Marriott International and rechristened as the J. W. Marriott hotel earlier this year, the Rihga Royal is getting its name back. The New York Post's Page Six says it's "happy to take credit," and suggests that the name change is due to the column's recent reports of celebrities canceling reservations because of the less-exclusive-sounding Marriott moniker. But Kathy Duffy, Marriott's New York PR chief, denies that the name change sparked any cancellations.
