New York City was voted the "Best City in North America" by the readers of Travel & Leisure magazine, beating San Francisco for the first time in five years. And Florence won the "Best City in the World" award. Other winners: The Four Season Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay was rated the "Best Overall Hotel," the Ritz Carlton Chicago was named the "Best Hotel is the Continental U.S. and Canada," the Hotel Gritti Palace in Venice was voted the "World's Best Small Hotel" (hotels with 100 rooms or fewer), Maui was rated the "World's Best Island" and the Canyon Ranch Health Resort in Tucson, Az. was rated the "World's Best Spa."
