Now that architects Beyer Blinder Belle have restored and renovated the Prince George Hotel in Madison Square at a cost of $25 million, the building's owners, nonprofit organization Common Ground Community, are looking to turn its ballroom into an event space, according to The New York Times. The 48-by-100-foot hall has 18-foot recessed panel ceilings, and "its columns are encrusted with plump cherubim, ripe fruit garlands and face with leafy walrus mustaches."
