"Just call it the Lounge Formerly Known as Moomba," New York magazine quipped about the former hotspot that was abruptly shut down by owner Jeff Gossett in April. The venue's new owner Park Avenue Entertainment signed a 12-year lease on the space, and promises that the new incarnation will not be a celebrity hangout. "'We want to promote to an Upper East Side preppy crowd rather than a trendy V.I.P.-celebrity kind of crowd," promoter Michael Heller told the mag. Translation: Gwyneth is still welcome; Leo is not.
