Trump Takes Over Wollman Rink

Central Park's Wollman Rink is back in the arms of its former landlord Donald Trump, according to Neal Travis of The New York Post. "Henry Stern apparently approached Trump some weeks ago and asked him to take over when the current contract runs out," Travis reports. Trump took over rehabilitation of the venue from the city in 1986, and had it up and running a few months later, spending several million dollars less than projected. The rink is currently run by George and Tom Makkos.
