Half of Meetings Going On, Half Aren't

Approximately half of 200 corporate meeting planners surveyed by Strategic Database Research said they had cancelled or postponed meetings scheduled for the next two months. According to the USAE newspaper's email newsletter, about 16 percent rescheduled meetings for a later date, 33 percent cancelled them, and about 49 percent held to their original plans. The study was conducted about two weeks after September 11.
