ICEBREAKER: Making Art With Candy

To lighten the mood at a meeting or let party guests feel like kids again, set up self-serve candy art stations. (It sounds a bit silly, but hands-on activities are a big trend this year.) The project is reminiscent of layering colored sand in bottles, but these colorful creations are edible. Can You Imagine That provides the goods, and guests put flavored sugars--16 flavors in all, including root beer, tangerine and key lime--into 6-,12- and 18-inch straws. --Jill Musguire
