Germany Event Pulls Into Grand Central

Commuters in Grand Central will notice more foreigners than usual populating the space, on account of a major exhibition hosted by the German tourism board, “Germany: A Sense-sational Experience.” We stopped by Vanderbilt Hall for a Grand Central Marketing-produced press conference, preview event, and Metrazur cocktail party launching the three-week celebration of the country’s cultural offerings. German ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger opened the exhibition, which features interactive exhibits and tastings.
