Across the park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Real Estate Council holds its benefit along with a viewing of the exhibition “Vincent van Gogh: the Drawings.” And at the Shops at Columbus Circle in Time Warner Center is the festive premiere of the center’s holiday multimedia light show.
Friday, the New York Financial Writers’ Association holds its jokey Financial Follies fund-raiser at the Marriott Marquis. And on Saturday, kids and adults alike celebrate the New York City Opera’s Little Prince family benefit at the New York State Theater.

The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences bestows the International Emmy awards this Monday at the Hilton New York. Also Monday, Saks Fifth Avenue unveils its holiday windows and presents the Snowflake Spectacular light show. And Tuesday evening the New York City Ballet celebrates opening night at the New York State Theater.
