Beer Brand Targets Fashion Crowd

The Miller Brewing Company hopes to replace champagne with Peroni as the drink of choice among the chic crowd, according to The New York Post. Yesterday the brewing giant launched a $50 million marketing campaign in the New York area, sending brand reps out to Manhattan and Hamptons parties to promote the Italian beer. The brand has also signed up to become the first beer sponsor of New York Fashion Week this September, and plans to promote itself at Miami and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks after.
