Lather Spa Comes to the East Coast

Los Angeles-based skin care company Lather launched its first full-service spa in June in Midtown, alongside its first East Coast retail store (the brand has three other locations in California and Arizona). Lather Spa is a 4,500-square-foot space that features treatments like the herbal detox facial, which uses sea kelp and ginseng to draw out impurities in the skin. The spa includes a 10- by 20-foot wall of 200 plants and flowers that purify the facility’s air and improve circulation, and a lounge decorated with modern art where guests can relax between treatments. Lather is planning to offer group packages, and the 1,500-square-foot retail store is available for events.
