French Lighting Firm to Illuminate Grand Central

Artlumiere, a Paris-based production firm specializing in over the top lighting effects, will produce this year’s holiday light show in the main concourse of Grand Central Terminal. The Grand Central Terminal Kaleidoscope will debut on Thursday, November 30, and run through Sunday, December 31, with 21 seven-minute light shows—accompanied by synchronized music—running daily. This is the first major public show in New York for Artlumiere, which is working with artists Friedrich Foerster and Sabine Weissinger of Casa Magica to create the event.
