Hearst Holiday Party Stays at Home

Let the my-holiday-party-is-better-than-yours comparisons begin! Gawker reports that Hearst is moving its annual party from its traditional home at Tavern on the Green to the magazine publisher’s shiny new tower on 57th Street. And instead of the “mountains, mounds, rainstorms of shrimp” one ticked-off employee recalls from parties past, this year’s online invitation promises “sweet treats at [the] Good Housekeeping Research Institute.”
