Alison Nelson’s popular Chocolate Bar in the West Village takes on Midtown with a new location within Henri Bendel. Chocolate Bar at Henri Bendel opened May 21 and offers plenty of chocolaty good things like truffles and baked goods, in addition to a menu of sweet and savory sandwiches, salads, and soups. The 14-seat café includes a six-seat bar and can be rented for small events; incorporating the nearby third-floor atrium space allows for as many as 50 guests. The bar will cater off-site, too.
