Palmer Plans Move for One, Closes Another

Early last month, the Charlie Palmer Group publicized a plan to move its restaurant Aureole to a site near Bryant Park in 2009, and yesterday its press department sent out a short release announcing that the company has closed Kitchen 22. Citing "seating capacity and the limited menu concept" as a reason for the decision, Palmer's Flatiron District eatery is shuttered as of May 31.
