The Supper Club Closes Unexpectedly

The Supper Club appears to have shuttered its doors without explanation, including to groups that had booked the venue for upcoming events. Sean Campbell, a vice president with We Plan It NY, said two of his clients had signed contracts with the space. One of them, which he declined to name, had already put down a $10,000 deposit. He's left several messages, to no avail. When we called the Supper Club yesterday, no one was answering phones and voicemail boxes were full. An email requesting more information about the situation was not returned. The club is located in the Hotel Edison, but calls to the hotel's general manager were not returned. We'll let you know if we find out more about the situation.
