Upgrade the typical office gathering with Roman-style pies from the newly opened Golosi ("glutton" in Italian). The Midtown restaurant specializes in oblong pies that are sold by the inch and vary by the day. Chef Francisco Barros uses Italian ingredients such as Neapolitan flour, Calabrian soppressata, and fior di latte mozzarella. Pizzas ($18 for an 18-inch pie and $28 for a 28-inch pie) include the mozzarella-only biancaneve, traditional Margherita, and anchovy, soppressata, and capricciosa with mushrooms, artichokes, and prosciutto cotto. Twenty-eight flavors of gelato house-made with ingredients such as Italian dark chocolate, fresh fruit, and nuts are also available for delivery with a $10 minimum purchase. Golosi’s delivery range is from Third Avenue to Seventh Avenue, from 32nd Street to 52nd Street.
