For a press conference at Splashlight Studios unveiling the new Buick Velite concept car during the week of the New York International Auto Show, Jack Morton created a look that was chic and refined—like the car itself, you could say. Jack Morton producer Terri Brown coordinated the conference and the buffet dinner that followed for General Motors' communications manager Terry Rhadigan. Creative Edge Parties served eclectic, international fare, including an array of Italian-style flatbreads and sushi prepared on the spot. The spartan decor included Velite design sketches on 35-millimeter slides projected onto Splashlight's white walls. "It was a simple, inexpensive solution to branding a product," Brown said.
