This year's New York International Auto Show at the Javits Center featured sleek design and some fun touches that kept parents and kids busy. While we saw many of the same displays from last year's show, a few companies brought some new, impressive looks to woo consumers to their booths.
The Auto Show is the city's biggest trade show, taking up 846,000 square feet of space at Javits. Last year, more than 1.2 million visitors checked out approximately 1,000 cars on display. And with the big number of surrounding events, including press conferences, launches and other promotional fetes, the show generates millions of dollars in revenue for the city. It's a good opportunity for New Yorkers to check out cars—and an even better one for event planners to scope automakers' best marketing efforts.
