For meetings, the restaurant can supply audiovisual equipment.
Mid-Price
English Is Italian offers a wine cellar with walls lined with bottles, and holds 200 for a cocktail reception. Eight passed hors d’oeuvres costs $30 per person for the first hour and $18 for the second hour (you’ll get 12 choices for $33 and $20), and a premium bar package starts at $25 per head for the first hour. For a meal, the space can seat 80, and the family-style dinner menu ranges from $65 to $90 per person.
Splurge
Alto has a sleek and sophisticated mezzanine-level private dining area. Prices are based on a $100 room charge and food and beverage minimums based on a $125-per-seat price. The smaller private room seats 16 and has a $2,400 food and beverage minimum, and the larger room seats 24 with a $3,000 minimum. (You can also split the room in half for 12 people for $50 and a $1,500 food and beverage minimum.)
