Mark—Avon's younger, hipper cosmetic line—launched its new fall collection with an enchanting event for beauty editors at Newspace. Jennifer Sagawa, Mark's director of product marketing, hired Matthew David Events to create the event, which conjured an atmosphere of an autumn evening in the park.
A wrought iron gate opened to four vignettes set up to showcase Mark's hair, fragrance, skin, and makeup products. The hair vignette featured a small faux maple tree with orange and red foliage and teardrop-shaped glass votive-candle holders suspended from the branches. The makeup section featured beautiful red umbrellas hovering over a wooden park bench and moss-covered pedestals that displayed the products and purses from the Mark accessories collection. Warm yellow lighting gave the room a park-at-sunset ambience.
