A Festive Outing
From sorting grapes to exploring the barreling and blending processes, hands-on winemaking activities are part of the mix at City Winery. Groups can add on private dinners and tastings, and the center also contains a full-fledged music venue, so you can cap the day with a performance.
A Taste of Brooklyn
Now with a Manhattan outpost, Defonte's of Brooklyn delivers its hot or cold heroes, sandwich platters (like a Vinnie Barbarino composed of sausage and peppers), and lunch and dinner entrees, including Italian-American dishes such as eggplant Parmesan or baked ziti.
On the Move
Charlie Palmer's Aureole is slated to open in its new location in the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park in late June. With a menu of progressive American fare, the new space includes a bar and lounge with a sophisticated cocktail program, a terrace for warm-weather dining, and a private room that can seat as many as 60 guests.
