4. Private Event Space at Humphrey

Humphrey, a new American-inspired farm-to-table restaurant inside the Eventi hotel, offers private areas for corporate meetings and events. The space has a retractable glass roof for year-round access, and outdoor seating for as many as 100 guests. Available for buyouts, the venue accommodates parties ranging from 20 to 200 people.

1. Sentry Centers at 810 Avenue

Sentry Centers' newest conference center, 810 Seventh Avenue, offers 11 private studios to accommodate as many as 300 guests for a variety of functions. Conveniently located in Midtown, the venue offers 12,000 square feet of meeting space. On-site catering is available.

2. Offsite

Located in Midtown Manhattan, new private meeting and event space Offsite is slated to open this month. The 4,200-square-foot venue boasts modern decor with streamlined furnishings and a mostly neutral color palette accented with bright pops of neon. The three-story space offers five large LED screens, a digital smart board, floor-to-ceiling whiteboard walls, live-camera-feed capabilities, and live-music input integration. The main floor seats 60 or holds as many as 150. An executive conference room seats 30, and the lower level has room for 25.

3. W New York

W New York recently renovated its eight meeting and event spaces along with the hotel's 3,690-square-foot Great Room. The 1,933 square feet of meeting space offers adaptable conference equipment, including built-in screens in every room and integrated audio systems with speakers. The space boasts minimalistic decor, with contemporary furnishings and a neutral color palette.

5. Metropolitan Pavilion

Metropolitan Pavilion recently expanded its Chelsea domain with two new rooms, the showroom (pictured) and conference room. The venue now offers five event spaces fit for larger meetings, conferences, or workshops, and two smaller meeting rooms. The 850-square-foot showroom holds 30 people and has a smaller interior room, called the Executive room, which can be used for administrative space, storage, prep, or other needs. The conference room, has a contemporary feel with streamlined furnishing; it seats 10 people.

6. Apella

Located inside the Alexandria Center for Life Science, Apella offers built-in amenities such as desks embedded with power connections, open communal kitchen areas, and an array of high-tech options. The space holds as many as 300 guests for receptions, or 150 seated classroom-style. On-site catering by Tom Colicchio's Riverpark and 'Wichcraft is available.

7. P.D.R.

P.D.R., a private dining room inside Cafeteria restaurant in Chelsea, is available for buyout for as many as 24 people. The space boasts a streamlined, modern look, marked by a palette of mostly white, dark wood furnishings, and wall-to-wall stainless steel shelving. Helmed by Cafeteria Group, the venue offers audiovisual capabilities, private restrooms, and access to a lower lounge area.

8. Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers

Following a $150 million renovation, the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers now boasts a Cisco Telepresence Suite, which features ultra high definition video and audio relay; it holds six people. Among the hotel's 60,000 square feet of event space, are 43 meeting rooms and a separate, more upscale, executive conference fit for corporate events. Designed to match the hotel's classic decor, the meetings facilities are outfitted with dark wood and brown leather furnishings.

9. Ritz-Carlton Battery Park

Renovations to the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park include updates to its 12,000 square feet of conference and event space. The hotel offers 12 function rooms including the Liberty Room, which holds 45, and the Heritage Room (pictured), which holds 60.

10. Chef's Pass

Chef's Pass, a private dining space inside Bouley, can be customized with guests' own music, pictures, and videos. The chef's table, which is headed by chef David Bouley, seats 11 people. Guests can share conversation with chefs, winemakers, or food artisans through Skype on a large flat-screen TV while having their meal.
