In December, the N.F.L. and Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group unveiled the N.F.L. Experience Times Square. Located on the corner of West 47th Street and Seventh Avenue, the space spans 40,000 square feet and four floors and features an interactive football experience that transports visitors from the practice field to the Super Bowl. Thanks to state-of-the art technology, fans can test their skills against pro players, learn game strategy, and experience the action on the field in the 4-D movie theater, which includes special effects like weather elements and aromas and seats that recreate movement. The space also features a food court and bar from Riviera Hospitality Group that serves dishes from each of the league’s stadiums. Tickets begin at $39; discounted rates are available for groups of 20 or more, along with food and beverage and merchandise package options.

New York-based photo booth company WhosEvent recently launched its newest product: Drag ‘N Drop. The new application allows event guests to “drag and drop” items like branded imagery, messaging, or digital stickers onto their photo, which can then be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or through email. The service includes professional lighting, a camera, and a 32-inch touchscreen TV, along with a photo template with a custom-branded layout and social captions, as well as unlimited branded 4x6-inch prints. An attendant helps set up, assist guests, and break down the photo booth. Pricing is $3,000 for four hours, and the service is available in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. WhosEvent requires custom icons and imagery to be sent a few weeks in advance of an event.

In October, Supermoon Bakehouse, a cousin to San Francisco’s popular Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, made its debut on the Lower East Side. Serving a rotating menu of filled croissants and doughnuts, including its ’gram-worthy “cruffin”—a croissant baked like a muffin—and cool iridescent takeout boxes, the bakery also offers catering. Available only in New York City, the catering order must include a minimum of 30 pieces (pricing starts at $4 per item) and be placed three days in advance.
