Take a peek at these buzz-worthy restaurants, hotels, meeting and event spaces and more recently opened in Seattle.

Here's a closer look at Seattle's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms and other spaces available for events this summer. The new and renovated Seattle venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings and more.

A note regarding COVID-19: Some of the venues listed here may not yet be available for hosting events due to the pandemic, or they may be operating at a lower capacity.

The George
The George
In early April, The George debuted inside of Seattle's Fairmont Olympic Hotel. The 4,500-square-foot brasserie and dining room boasts high ceilings in an elevated atmosphere of velvet seating, mirrored ceilings, chevron-tiled floors and marble-accented walls, complete with two giant, tiered chandeliers. The grandiose space can accommodate up to 100 seated or standing guests in the main dining room, plus 20 in the bar and lounge area. Hosting a more intimate gathering? The George has a 450-square-foot private dining room, Petite, that can seat up to 12.

Founders Club

Also located in the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is the Founders Club, a cozy hideaway just beyond the bookcase of the Olympic Bar. The 625-square-foot space was inspired by speakeasies of the 1920s. Notable design elements include leather couches, red-velvet lounges and a dimly-lit bar. Up to 30 seated or 35 standing guests can fit comfortably in the intimate venue. Buyouts of the Founders Club begin at $750, and F&B minimums start at $3,000.

Five Iron Golf Seattle
Five Iron Golf Seattle
American rapper Macklemore-backed Five Iron Golf Seattle has been making its mark on Capitol Hill since it opened at the end of March. The 12,000-square-foot venue has 12 simulator bays that can each accommodate up to six guests, who can kick back on one of the leather couches and watch their teammates tee off. Each bay comes complete with projectors, TVs equipped with Apple TV, portable microphones and speakers. Full buyouts starting at $15,000 are also available for up to 180, with food and beverage from Five Iron Golf's on-site, full-service restaurant and bar. Want to level up an event? Book one of the venue's simulated competitions or contents, or a golf instruction or club-fitting session.

The Crocodile
The Crocodile
Located inside Hotel Crocodile is The Crocodile , which once hosted bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam and has returned bigger than ever at the end of November with its new Belltown location. The 30,000-square-foot main floor show room can accommodate anywhere from 200-1,000 standing or 375 seated attendees and is available for full buyouts. Designed to host live entertainment, The Crocodile comes equipped with AV capabilities and a full-service events team, known for executing everything from 10-person meetings with custom cookies to large-scale, sit-down banquets with an ice sculpture. There's also three additional event spaces adjacent to the music destination: Madame Lou's, located downstairs for up to 300 seated or standing guests; comedy club Here-After, which can seat up to 100; as well as two dedicated private event spaces inside of the 17-room Crocodile Hotel.

Electric Cello
Electric Cello
In November, the Hamilton Building in Georgetown became home to Electric Cello , an intimate restaurant and bar with a refreshing, hyper-seasonal menu of small and large plates—with highlights such as an escarole salad, roasted bone marrow and grilled whole trout—as well as an extensive drink menu centered around OOLA Distillery spirits. (The OOLA Bottle Shop is also located in the Hamilton Building.) Electric Cello can accommodate up to 40 seated or 70 standing guests in a welcoming, 2,000-square-foot space notable for its warm woods and neutral tones, blue-accented bar and floating cello installation that greets guests upon arrival. Buyouts are available on a case-by-case basis, and fees range from $1,800-$3,000 depending on the day and time of the event, with F&B minimums starting at $2,000 each.
