This spring the Event Leadership Institute is launching a new hybrid course model, marrying the most successful elements of its online and in-person courses into a single, blended experience. The new flipped or hybrid class is designed to foster greater learning customization, taking advantage of the live experience by using it for more interactive, hands-on elements. After participants learn concepts online prior to class, instructors in eight cities will lead them in applying those concepts to real-world scenarios through group discussion, team exercises, case study analysis, guest speakers, and field trips.

E.L.I.'s first hybrid course will be for Event & Meeting Management Fundamentals, with in-person sessions taking place concurrently in New York; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; San Diego; Phoenix; Denver; Austin, Texas; and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
