Here's a closer look at Austin, Texas' newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this spring. The new and renovated Austin venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
W Austin

In January, W Austin announced the completion of a multimillion-dollar transformation of its 251-room property. All guest rooms and suites have been redesigned with rich textures and bold colors that aim to capture Austin's live music scene and the beauty of the city's natural surroundings. The highlight of the lobby redesign is a gold bar inspired by the fluid lines of a trumpet; it turns the space into a day-to-night venue that can play host to performances by Austin’s emerging and established musical artists. Renovations also include an all-new restaurant concept, Serenade American Brasserie, plus the 2nd & Roast coffee shop and the Blue Room cocktail bar.

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin

In September 2024, Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin unveiled two new F&B concepts: the first-floor restaurant, The Tradition, An American Kitchen, and the eighth-floor rooftop bar, Heydey Social Club (pictured). The former is a full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner rooted in American cuisine. Think: smash burgers, braised short ribs, and brisket sandwiches. Heydey, meanwhile, is a European-inspired cocktail bar sporting a midcentury modern, retro feel with design touches that nod to the American Southwest. The indoor-outdoor space offers sweeping views of the Austin skyline, plus a variety of light bites, specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages. Planners can rent out the 1,200-square-foot Heydey Social Club for groups of up to 90 guests.

PNC Hall

Now open as one of the newest event spaces at ACL Live at The Moody Theater, PNC Hall spans 2,000 square feet and offers a modern design, plenty of flexible spaces, and downtown views. The venue, located in Austin's 2nd Street District, can accommodate up to 225 guests standing or 200 theater-style for meetings and receptions. It is part of Block 21, a mixed-use development that also includes W Austin. Planners can book the space through W Austin or ACL Live.

The Stagecoach Restaurant

Located about an hour outside Austin in Salado, Texas, The Stagecoach Restaurant has reopened to once again welcome travelers and locals alike to enjoy a meal and Southern hospitality while steeped in Texas history. The historic restaurant originally opened its doors as the Stagecoach Inn in 1947; it now once again offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare daily from an updated menu. Stagecoach partnered with Monument Group (which is behind Monument Cafe and El Monumento) to breathe new life into the restaurant. After shutting down for renovations in June 2023, the restaurant has opened its doors once again prioritizing fresh, local, and seasonal items on the menu. Highlights include hushpuppies, goat cheese dip, fried chicken salad, and a grilled bone-in pork chop. There are multiple venues available for private events, including the 2,562-square-foot Grace Jones Ballroom for up to 175 guests.
