Here's a closer look at Dallas/Fort Worth's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this fall. The new and renovated Dallas/Fort Worth venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
Nuri Steakhouse

The elegant Nuri Steakhouse opened its doors in August. The space is opulent, with luxurious details like hand-painted wallpaper from England, traditional Korean ceramics, and exquisite light fixtures. Spanning 9,500 square feet, the restaurant seats 150 guests indoors, with an additional 50 seats on the outdoor patio. A private dining room is also available for smaller groups. The menu blends Asian and American cuisine, with thoughtful dishes like steak tartare presented in both Eastern and Western styles, Korean-style lobster, dry-aged ribeye steaks, specialty wagyu beef, and bourbon pecan pie. A master sommelier is on hand to help navigate the extensive, 750-label wine list.

Even Coast

August brought the arrival of Even Coast in Addison. The approachable yet sophisticated menu includes homemade pastas like fusilli with pesto and stracciatella, seafood specialties like blackened Texas redfish, sumptuous meats like center-cut filet, and unique sides like charbroiled Broccolini. Measuring 5,000 square feet, the space includes seating for 150 guests inside, with room for an additional 75 seats on the 1,500-square-foot patio. Design elements like an open kitchen, a centerpiece bar, and abundant natural light create a welcoming, warm environment.

Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Arlington

The Arlington Entertainment District welcomed Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Arlington in June. The 268-room hotel features more than 7,000 square feet of event space divided into several distinct rooms, including the 2,940-square-foot Willow Ballroom with capacity for 240 guests; the 1,732-square-foot Cottonwood Ballroom that accommodates 160; and a 12-seat, 282-square-foot boardroom. Planners can select from the hotel’s preferred caterers or choose one on their own, and the hotel offers all-day snack and beverage service.

Rock & Brews

In July, Rock & Brews opened an 11,000-square-foot location in Grapevine that seats 150 guests inside and 150 outside. The outpost brings a rock 'n' roll-style dining experience, complete with a state-of-the-art sound system, concert lighting, and microphone capabilities for live performances. On the menu, guests can choose from internationally influenced new American dishes like giant soft Bavarian pretzels, Asian-style chicken wings, and barbecued baby back ribs.

Culinary Dropout

Culinary Dropout opened a massive 22,000-square-foot outpost in the Design District in June. The decor and design fuse nostalgia and urban-industrial staples with standout elements including green quartzite bars, textural finishes, and custom art installations, and the space is equipped for live performances. Several areas of the restaurant are available for groups, including a 90-seat private dining room, a 36-seat private dining room, and an open-air rooftop with capacity for 150 guests for receptions. On the menu, guests can choose from crowd-pleasers like wagyu pigs in a blanket, an antipasti board, chicken cacio e pepe pasta, and Mongolian short ribs. This location is also the chain’s first to offer a sushi menu.

The GOAT Restaurant & Lounge

In May, The GOAT Restaurant & Lounge debuted in Uptown Dallas. Spanning 7,000 square feet, the venue seats 142 guests, with room for as many as 300 for cocktail-style gatherings. The vibe here is chic, trendy, and modern, and the space is equipped with a DJ booth and six large TV screens. The kitchen serves decadent Mediterranean and European cuisine like lobster oreganata, ratatouille, grilled lamb chops, and baklava cheesecake.

The Charlotte

As of September, North Henderson is home to The Charlotte, a 5,800-square-foot American bistro. The space includes seating for 60 inside and 20 on the patio, and a private dining room seats 20. The ambiance is light, airy, and playful, with watercolor-patterned upholstery, Edison-style chandeliers, and graphic floor tiles. The menu combines global flavors and locally sourced ingredients, offering enticing, diverse options like biryani spiced wings, spaghetti and catfish, crab fried rice, and lamb chimichurri.

Mar Y Sol Cocina Latina

Mar Y Sol Cocina Latina opened its doors in July in Dallas’ Knox Street neighborhood. The restaurant has several areas available for groups, including the 50-seat Escondido private dining room with its own bar and bathroom, as well as a 40-seat enclosed patio. Exuding a vibrant, modern vibe, the elegantly appointed space is adorned with flora-inspired chandeliers, live greenery, and intricately carved wood. Guests can choose from a variety of reimagined Latin favorites, like duck flautas, an Argentinean meat board, and salmon wrapped in banana leaves.

Broken Yolk Cafe

Broken Yolk Cafe opened a new location in June, bringing the chain’s signature all-day breakfast and boozy brunch menu to McKinney. Think dishes like feta avocado toast, Southern biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffle Benedict, and huevos rancheros. With a laid-back ambiance, the space is perfect for casual events. In total, the 4,000-square-foot restaurant seats 195 diners inside, and the 1,500-square-foot covered patio seats 95 outside.
