Here's a closer look at Dallas/Fort Worth's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this summer. The new and renovated Dallas/Fort Worth venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
Omni Las Colinas Hotel

In June, Omni Las Colinas Hotel announced the completion of a $20 million renovation across all 421 guest rooms, including 111 luxury suites and the Las Colinas Ballroom, the property’s largest event space. This was the final phase of the renovations. Previous upgrades include a lakeside resort-style experience with The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge & Pool Deck, featuring daybeds, fire pits, private cabanas, and a 10,700-square-foot outdoor event lawn.

The Hampton Social

Expanding into the Dallas area, The Hampton Social opened its 13th outpost in March in a stunning four-story, 17,224-square-foot space. The venue offers indoor, outdoor, and rooftop dining areas, a 360-degree bar, and coastal-inspired decor that makes the venue feel like a breezy escape from the city. A seafood-heavy menu includes dishes like crab and shrimp bruschetta, lobster rolls, and honey-glazed salmon, as well as additional classics like handmade pizzas, pastas, steak frites, and smash burgers. The Hampton Social can accommodate up to 400 guests, with private sections available for groups ranging from 25 to 160 people.

Monkey Bar on 9

Monkey Bar on 9 opened on the ninth-floor rooftop of Tru by Hilton Dallas Market Center in June. Boasting sweeping views of downtown Dallas, the bar features 5,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space for events. Buyouts accommodate as many as 200 guests, but private gatherings can be arranged for as few as 20. The space is adorned with greenery, and the food and beverage program focuses on margaritas, classic cocktails, cold-pressed juices, and shareable bites like nachos and queso dip.

Cosm

Cosm opened in August 2024, bringing a unique space for unforgettable experiences to Grandscape in The Colony. The venue spans roughly 30,000 square feet, with massive LED screens throughout that immerse guests in the action, whether they’re attending a sporting event, black-tie gala, product launch, brand activation, or other gathering. Cosm can accommodate as many as 2,000 guests, but planners can reserve gatherings for groups as small as 10.

Fritz’s Adventure

Branson, Mo., attraction Fritz’s Adventure opened a second location in April, this one at Grandscape in The Colony. The 10,000-square-foot adventure park is packed with interactive entertainment, from adrenaline-fueled activities like ziplines and a 48-foot climbing wall to tamer fun like treehouses and slides. The facility also offers several rooms for private group meetings of 16 to 100 people.

Gas Monkey Icehouse

Richard Rawlings, founder of Gas Monkey Garage, opened Gas Monkey Icehouse in May at Grandscape in The Colony. The venue spans nearly 13,000 square feet, including a 3,210-square-foot outdoor courtyard. In total, Gas Monkey Icehouse seats as many as 220 indoors and 120 outdoors, and VIP spaces throughout the venue are available for private groups. Diners enjoy crowdpleasers like smash burgers, beer-battered chicken fingers, pizza, and nachos, along with signature cocktails and 28 beers on tap.

Evelyn

Open since March, Evelyn is a uniquely stylish venue that takes guests through different eras of entertainment. Room Seven, for instance, is adorned with vibrant, disco ball-inspired decor, while the Ruby Room evokes classic Hollywood, and the Peacock Room feels like an opulent '70s-style apartment. In total, the space spans 9,500 square feet, with an energetic atmosphere that’s partially fueled by an extensive cocktail and beverage program. On the food menu, guests can enjoy steakhouse staples like prime steaks, seafood towers, and even caviar service. For groups, the Ruby Room and Room Seven each seat 100 guests, while the smaller spaces accommodate more intimate get-togethers.

White Rhino Coffee

June brought the opening of a new location of White Rhino Coffee in Cypress Waters, a mixed-use development near DFW Airport. Patrons here enjoy fresh-brewed coffee and tea, as well as from-scratch bites and baked goods. The cafe is adjacent to office and conference space, and the aesthetic is airy and modern, with tons of natural light and views of scenic Salazar Park. Spanning more than 1,550 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, White Rhino Coffee seats as many as 28 inside and 16 on the patio.

Ten50 BBQ

Ten50 BBQ opened a location in Devonshire in May. The new restaurant is a more elevated version of the original, with hybrid table service as well as a full bar with wine and local craft beer on tap and by the bottle. For decor, the 3,300-square-foot, 74-seat restaurant offers a rustic yet stylish vibe with artisan-made touches like untreated white oak, unlaquered copper, and hand-fired tile. Diners can observe the pitmasters creating composed dishes and sandwiches made with the high-quality smoked meats and traditional sides that the original Richardson location is known for.

Ella

Ella, an approachable American bistro, opened in June in Preston Hollow Village. The 63-seat restaurant spans 2,500 square feet, with a feminine aesthetic that feels at once chic and inviting. Decor elements like globe chandeliers, a red-tiled bar, and green paneled walls create a dramatic atmosphere for group gatherings and meals. On the menu, guests can find sophisticated comfort food like corn soup, pork cheeks with orange jus, slow-braised short rib, and fresh pappardelle with bolognese. Creative concoctions from behind the bar include the Chocolate Raspberries (brandy, raspberry, and cocoa butter), Salsa Verde Ranch Water (tequila and mezcal with tomatillo and citrus), and the Shiso Gin and Tonic (gin, shiso, Szechuan peppercorn, and tonic).

Nirvana Lounge

South Asian and Southeast Asian music, culture, and cuisine come together at Nirvana Lounge, which debuted at Toyota Music Factory in March. The space is sophisticated and moody, with neon lighting, plush textiles, and surrealist art installations. Diners here munch on bold, flavorful, shareable dishes like salt and pepper shrimp, crispy chicken lollipops, Szechuan fried rice, and Manchurian-style cauliflower; the cocktail menu also features recipes imbued with Indian spices. Indoors, the 1,598-square-foot space seats 70 or accommodates 200 for cocktail-style events. A 574-square-foot outdoor patio accommodates an additional 40 guests.
