
Righteous Foods opened its doors in Fort Worth's Cultural District in October 2014. The 2,500-square-foot, chef-driven restaurant seats as many as 100 guests (72 inside, 28 on the patio) or holds 150 for receptions. Righteous Foods is available for seated dinners or cocktail receptions with passed hors d'oeuvres. On the menu are dishes and drinks made with healthy, unprocessed, organic ingredients; cocktails are also served. Event menus are customizable.

Scotch & Sausage opened in August in Oak Lawn. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant includes indoor and outdoor areas suitable for small groups or semiprivate events; full buyouts are available for as many as 220 seated or 400 standing guests. The seasonal gastropub focuses on its exotic array of sausages. A full bar offers more than 150 varieties of whiskey, 21 beers on draft, and a selection of wines and cocktails. Planners can use the venue's HDMI-compatible TV if needed.

So & So's, a neighborhood restaurant, bar, and lounge in Uptown, opened in April. The venue spans 3,300 square feet and holds as many as 350 guests inside. There is also a patio with additional space. The pizza-centric menu includes crowd-pleasers like chicken and dumplings, cornmeal fried okra, and banana pudding. Planners with audiovisual needs can utilize the built-in PA system and multiple XLR plugins.

Helmed by chef Eddy Thretipthuangsin, Bite City Grill opened in March 2014. The extensive menu features globally influenced American cuisine like lamb meatballs, scallops with grits, and charred octopus, as well as an expansive wine selection. The Fort Worth eatery holds as many as 160 guests in its main dining room. There is also a 40-seat bar area and a 24-seat private dining room. The latter is equipped with an HDMI-compatible flat-screen TV.
