The guest list for Fox’s fall season launch party at the Sterling Steakhouse (adjoining the popular Cabana Club) drew heavily from the casts of The O.C., Arrested Development, Prison Break, That 70’s Show, and others. So Fox vice president of special events Tomiko Iwata put the celebs front and center, having them form teams to gamble at casino tables by Fantasy Casino. Guests played Texas Hold 'Em—an event staple lately—as well as craps, black jack, and roulette. The celebs' takes benefited the charities of their choice, raising nearly $100,000 for Cure Autism Now, Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, and Feed the Children.

Swiffer sponsored the party, and the event had a brown and orange color scheme to match the cleaning product's packaging (“We even had a dye-to-match carpet in Swiffer’s orange color,” Iwata said)—and hint at autumn, too. At the end of the night, guests left with Swiffer’s new product, the Carpet Flick, along with Robots and Mad TV DVDs, the O.C. soundtrack, and a Simpsons book.
