The Art Gallery of Ontario’s Massive Party took place at the museum on April 10. Attendees encountered an installation from Absolut Vodka called “The Construction Set.” Designed in collaboration with Jonathan Moneta of digital fabrication studio MakeLab, the structure comprised 300 empty Absolut bottles, hundreds of 3-D-printed bottle connectors (which tied the bottles together), 640 high-powered LED lights, and heavy-duty zip ties.

The Women’s Committee for the Corcoran Gallery of Art hosted its annual ball in Washington on April 25. Orange napkins folded like rosebuds topped each of the plates in one gallery.

On a bridge over the atrium, Perfect Settings erected a stone-style, four-sided bar with topiaries on each corner and additional faux-grass flooring.

Artists created a sweet piece of art at the Canadian Special Event Show's opening night party in March. Janice Cardinale of the Idea Hunter oversaw the evening's entertainment, which included a performance from Toronto duo Gilded Live. While an artist painted on a wood canvas using chocolate as her medium, a musician provided accompaniment on piano and guitar.
