This week's roundup includes a bathroom-tissue fashion show for the annual White Cashmere Collection in Toronto, pizza scotch eggs at Dewar's Scotch Egg Club in New York, the launch of Instagram's #KindComments walls in New York, and a Monte Carlo-inspired step-and-repeat at the Wolf Trap Ball in Vienna, Virginia.

Goldman Properties, the owner of the Houston Bowery Wall in New York, partnered with Instagram to debut a new mural at the wall to kick off the #KindComments initiative, which is part of Instagram’s commitment to foster kindness on its platform. The New York wall, which was revealed on September 26, is the first in a series of 10 walls that will be unveiled in Dallas, Chicago, and Washington, as well as cities in Brazil, India, and Indonesia.

Scotch whiskey brand Dewar’s brought its Scotch Egg Club back to New York with an event on September 28 at Liberty Hall at the Ace Hotel. The event, which was part of the brand’s Traveling Whiskey Emporium tour, featured a branded whisky aroma station and a branded hologram. The event was produced by experiential agency Epsilon, and PR was handled by Nike Communications.

Food served at the event included classic scotch eggs and a custom New York Pizza scotch egg created by chef Michael Voltaggio. They were provided in egg cartons with branded labels.

The 14th annual White Cashmere Collection—a fashion show focused on a future without breast cancer that highlighted designs made with Cashmere Bathroom Tissue—took place September 28 at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. This year’s event, which celebrated Canada’s 150th anniversary, incorporated a national student design competition and featured outfits from 16 finalists.

The Wildlife Conservation Society’s fifth annual Sip for the Sea benefit, supporting the New York Aquarium, took place September 28 at the Central Park Zoo. The event featured a beverage experience from the Tuck Room and iPic Entertainment, in which mixologist Adam Seger created a sangria using the Tuck Room’s Heizenberg infusion tower. Raw apple cider from Union Square Farmer’s Market was infused through Lemon Berry Meritage Tea from Rare Tea Cellar, with late summer berries and Japanese orange. The drink was then topped off with liquid nitrogen.

Nonprofit museum Design Exchange kicked off its inaugural expo in Toronto in September 28. The event, which runs through Sunday, features an exhibit called “Equalizer,” in which LED lights shift based on rates of taxation that guests select on a touch screen.

The 42nd edition of the Wolf Trap Ball took place September 23 in Vienna, Virginia. The Monte Carlo-inspired event, which was designed by Silver Lining Design Group, featured a step-and-repeat with oversize graphic roses in a red, pink, and white ombre display, which was moved inside during the dinner for photo ops.

Monaco-theme decor included a replica of Princess Grace Kelly’s dress for her 1956 wedding to Prince Rainier III. The gown was on loan from a Grace Kelly fan from Maryland, who commissioned the piece as a gift to the East Falls Historical Society in Philadelphia to celebrate what would have been the royal couple’s 60th wedding anniversary. Video footage of the wedding played on a screen while the dress stood on a staircase designed to evoke Princess Grace’s wedding day.

VH1’s annual Hip Hop Honors took place September 17 at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The event, which was inspired by old-school Brooklyn, featured custom-designed graffiti by Julio Himede Design. The artwork was temporarily attached to buildings with vinyl stickers, creating a fully immersive and on-theme environment for attendees and the TV audience.

Himede also installed LED video screens in every window of the main building behind the stage. Ever-changing content created a dynamic look while R&B artists such as Xscape performed.
