Here's another new restaurant/lounge in the Gramercy/Flatiron area. Chinoiserie recently opened in the Hotel Giraffe on Park Avenue South. Run by the Merchants Restaurant Group and designed by Chapman & Chapman, the restaurant is filled with bold, warm reds, and mod booths and chairs. The food: Pan Asian by way of France, by chef Marc Murphy. The hotel also has a 3,250-square-foot penthouse with a rooftop garden--great for a cocktail party.
