Party of the Year Gets Chanel Theme

The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced that the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition will feature Chanel designs, Women’s Wear Daily reports. As always, the theme for the institute’s annual gala—nicknamed the “Party of the Year”—will coincide. Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Chanel artistic director Karl Lagerfeld, and actress and new face of Chanel No. 5 Nicole Kidman will cochair the event. Princess Caroline of Monaco will serve as honorary chair.
