New York event producer and designer Jes Gordon—one of BiZBash’s 10 Event Designers to Watch in 2005—is opening a branch of her firm, Jes Gordon/Proper Fun, in Los Angeles in the coming weeks. (Even though her West Coast expansion is new, the energetic, talented Gordon—with her propensity for using words like dude and awesome—always seemed like a California girl to us.)
