Word is making its way around celebrity blogs that Lindsay Lohan's upcoming 22nd birthday party needs corporate sponsorship. While that might not seem too out of the ordinary in a time when events from baby showers to bar mitzvahs are being sponsored, this does: A marketing team has put together a Web site aimed at courting sponsors by revealing the party's tabloid-worthy details. Apparently, rehab graduate (and alleged fur-coat-stealer) Lohan and "10 of her closest girlfriends" will kick off the big day with spa treatments. Then, "upon nightfall," 75 V.I.P. guests will gather for "dinner, performances, and, most importantly, to help Lindsay blow out the candles on her 22nd birthday cake." The Moroccan-themed party will take place at a five-bedroom Malibu mansion.Talent Resources, which bills itself as an "elite entertainment and integrated marketing firm," spells out exactly what companies will receive for sponsoring this "internationally media-worthy event": inclusion in gift bags, company logos on the official invitation, signage, images of Lohan and her guests with the product, and, best of all, distribution at the "on-site hospitality suite." Sponsors are also promised exclusive media coverage by broadcast outlets and a weekly entertainment magazine.
