Domo Japones Closes, New Restaurant Coming

Continuing the string of Miami venue closings, sushi spot Domo Japones in the design district has officially closed its doors. Housed in the former Buena Vista Post Office built in the 1920s, will not remain vacant for long. Domo's owner, Amir Ben-Zion will remain attached to the building, as he and Michelle Bernstein of Michy's work together to open a new restaurant soon, the name of which has yet to be decided.

Adrienne Elise Tarver's painting “Dark Star” inspired the decor for the party, immersing attendees in vibrant sunset hues. The painting was also featured as part of the tropical dinner tablescape.
