Cupcakes Nouveau, which recently opened a bakery in Coral Gables, specializes in custom-made, mini fondant cupcake-toppers can be created to match an event’s theme or decor. The company will also create a unique display for the treats to coordinate with the look of the cakes and the event.
Five standard cake flavors are available, including red velvet with cream cheese frosting. There are also six pre-designed, filled options to choose from, like the Caramel Bonbon, made of vanilla cake with a dulce de leche center, buttercream frosting, and vanilla Swiss meringue topping. The cakes come in two sizes—standard or miniature—and are priced at $1 to $3. Individual flavor combinations can be created from seven cake options, four fillings, and eight frosting flavors. Discounts are available for orders of more than 100 cakes. Delivery is available in Dade and Broward counties for orders of $50 or more; fees start at $15.
