Boston sweet tooths have a fun new option for events in Sugar Heaven, an oversize candy emporium that just opened in the Back Bay.
The Boylston Street store, which also has locations in nearby Dedham as well as Montreal and Miami, is a bright, colorful space specializing in all things sugary. On hand are 5,000 varieties of candy, from basic M&Ms to imported British chocolates. Willy Wonka-esque touches include a chocolate conveyor belt and a wall covered in candy buttons, while a mod take on the old fashioned ice cream bar serves a rotating roster of 30 flavors with 100 candy toppings.
The store, which includes outdoor seating overlooking the main branch of the Boston Public Library, holds 200 guests and is available for private parties. Events can be booked any day of the week, from 9 a.m. to midnight.
For off-site events, Sugar Heaven can also prepare candy centerpieces, bouquets, and goodie bags.
