IMEX America, which officially kicked off on Tuesday at the Sands Expo, drew a buzzing crowd to its sprawling show floor. Among the exhibitors from all over the world—140 countries are represented here—was at least one very locally minded group: Las Vegas's own exhibit brought the requisite showgirls, as well as multiple capiz shell chandeliers for a 1970s-inspired vibe. Stone and ironwork, as well as a large light-up sign that hung overhead, completed the look. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority touted the city's 10 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space in the on-brand booth.
