Orlando's ConceptBait Global Events & Floral Design Group has several new additions to its “Liquid Metals” linen collection. The wet-look spandex, which fits over armless chairs, now comes in silver, gold, and titanium hues, and starts at around $5.25 each. Coordinating table covers will roll out soon.

The Chicago zoo’s July 13 benefit had a theme inspired by The Great Gatsby. Designers from Frost and Event Creative aimed to bring an East Coast-mansion feel to HDO Productions’ dinner tent, stringing bunches of chandeliers over the dance floor.

On November 9, the Humane Society of the United States hosted its annual gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. At the entrance, event planning and production firm Eventique created a three-room photo vignette for guests to pose with rescue dogs that had been part of a Humane Society campaign. The rooms were based on each dog's social-media personality, such as a couch-loving pitbull named Chase (@sometimescarl) whose setup included a giant paw-print couch and bone decor.
