For the launch of the Puma store in SoHo, event producers brought in visual entertainment company MX Works to add some high-tech decor to the store's white brick walls. The company's MediaXtasy computer program allowed "media jockeys" to constantly manipulate and synchronize digital images to the DJ's party music and project it onto the store walls. Puma logos and photos of their products were incorporated into a mix of other urban imagery that included video clips and stills of dancers, skateboarders and street performers and other artists, creating a flashy, eye-catching visual effect.
