At the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS' Dining by Design benefit, designer Todd Moore created an Atlantis theme for fabric company Schumacher's table. He put several transparent globes filled with shells, water and flowers in the center, beneath a silver tower topped with a statue of Poseidon.

Murray Moss of the high-style design store Moss suspended several colored glass bowls on a transparent acrylic sheet above glass company Salviati's table. Light shining through the bowls projected muted, pastel colors onto the white table below.

Surprise by Design host Robert Verdi designed a bubbly-inspired table for event sponsor Champagne Taittinger. Sheer white fabric covered a transparent rectangular table paired with Philippe Starck chairs—which, truth be told, looked more like martini glasses than champagne flutes.

Coach's Reed Krakoff used see-through Philippe Starck chairs around the leather goods company's table, which was covered in python skin.
