Five hundred members of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada flocked to the historic Fairmont Royal York Hotel to attend their 73rd annual conference wrap party. Deborah Breckels of Attention to Detail Events planned the event, treating members with diverse backgrounds in mining, exploration, and finance to a South Pacific theme with grass skirting on buffet stations, beautiful tiki huts for the entrance to the space, and colourful linens and tables decor with a true Polynesian flair from Stardust Events. Blue-Eyed Soul and Hawaiian Pacific Magic provided music and interactive entertainment for guests to groove to. PA Plus Productions shone red and blue pastel lighting over the buffet stations for dramatic effect.
Envision Digital Photography made sure the event was memorable, providing on-site photography of the event in progress and a digital photo booth for guests to pose for pictures themselves with a live parrot.
