Blank Space Art Lounge, a combination lounge and gallery, opened in November on the ground floor of an Art Deco building in downtown Orlando. Featuring a monthly rotation of contemporary artwork from around the country, the venue can host private events for 110 people.
The 875-square-foot gallery can accommodate 80 people for a reception and has large floor-to-ceiling windows providing views of downtown. The lounge area has seating for 45 with its existing furniture, which can be cleared for larger parties.
There's also a partially covered patio space for 15 seating or 30 standing. The café serves coffee, soda, and beer and wine, but full-service caterers are welcome for events. The facility has a small kitchen for catering prep as well.
For meetings or presentations, complimentary Wi-Fi is available, along with a ceiling-mounted projector, 32-inch TV—or 6- by 6-foot wall that can be used for a screen—and a microphone and speaker system. Three ping-pong tables are also available for use during breaks.
