Toronto Fashion Week: Designers Dress Runways With Projections, Velvet Ropes

Susan O'Neill
April 6, 2010

The Fashion Design Council of Canada presented 30 runway shows and drew more than 30,000 attendees to the Allstream Centre at Exhibition Place for the fall 2010 collections at LG Fashion Week, which wrapped Thursday. More than 75 designers participated in the shows—and sold clothes in an on-site boutique—this year, which marked the event's 22nd season.

Here's a look at how some designers used lighting and props to set the stage for their collections.
