Vogue Eyewear had Mother Nature in part to thank for its alfresco launch on March 13. The party to fete the spring summer communication campaign starring Eva Mendes—for a line inspired by the Southern California lifestyle—took over a private manse on a warm evening in Beverly Hills, with chic, steal-worthy event ideas throughout, courtesy of designer Bronson an Wyck.
At the entrance to the tony Simon House, giant bouquets of pink balloons signaled the playful tone of the party, and a step-and-repeat wall made from logo Mylar balloons packed a punch for the cameras. Inside the home, blow-up photos from the campaign shot by Mario Testino lined the walls, while the new collection of shades made its way into artful displays on shelves, tucked amid sculptural floral and foliage arrangements.
In the backyard, with a sweeping view of the city lights below, beach balls and a Vogue logo gobo decked the pool, around which furniture groupings and lanterns hung from the trees created a summery feel. On the bars, eyewear and floral arrangements encased in blocks of ice formed eye-catching and unexpected decor. Models played lawn games like croquet while guests meandered to a soundtrack by DJ Hannah Bronfman.
