At the world premiere of Marvel's Ant-Man on June 29 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the film's title design at the entrance was an actual giant ant farm.

Stevie Wonder performed a surprise concert at the RFK Stadium-Armory Campus in Washington on Monday. The pop-up show was the first stop on a three-city mini tour, which also came to Philadelphia and New York on Monday, to promote the remaining dates of Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life Performance" United States tour.

An event previewing the Adam Lippes for Target collection took place at the 620 Loft & Garden at Rockefeller Center in New York on August 12. Two Target bull's-eye topiaries were on display at the outdoor section of the popular venue.

Guests were encouraged to chat and enjoy their beverages and hors d'oeuvres picnic-style on plaid blankets from the collection, while listening to jazz music from a three-man band. The picnic setup was designed by David Stark Designs.

Thrillist and Honda partnered for the Culinary Road Trip, which was held June 12 to 14 at Siren Studios Orange in Hollywood. Forget summertime happy hours and client dinners. The fitness company has organized a yoga-and-mimosas event for Ivy, a members-only networking community, at Studio 450 in Chelsea.

Grande Lakes Orlando, home of both the Ritz-Carlton Orlando and JW Marriott Orlando, provides a true “farm-to-table” experience with its “Bee Break.” The resort’s resident bees are part of the food display, with the hive enclosed in a glass case. Guests can choose from a variety of foods prepared with honey from those bees, such as almond croissants drizzled with honey, and honey, orange, and chocolate chip muffins.

Attendee-led fitness activities were a popular option at the Hyatt Global Summit in July at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Organizers identified some attendees who were willing to lead a boot camp at the resort pool, runs around the property, and yoga. “I think it created a different kind of networking opportunity, and it encouraged more attendees to join in the activities since they weren’t as structured as your typical breakout with a hotel leader or other leader from the event in charge,” said Megan Licata, the hotel’s marketing manager.
