Mother Earth would approve of the new sustainable catering option from chef Louisa Shafia of Lucid Food. Remaining true to her belief in using local ingredients and organic produce and meats whenever possible, she will customize menus and serve fare in biodegradable, sugarcane-fiber-based containers, plates, and cups—and yes, packaging can be customized with a logo. After an event, Lucid hauls away used wares for composting (for a fee of $75). —Mark Mavrigian
